The furnaces that actually put to use over 90% of the gas that is paid for are the most efficient.  Technology has come a long ways in making these units not only more efficient but longer lasting.  We still recommend going with a better brand and the extended warranties because they have a lot more that can go wrong with them.  A proper licensed installation is really key because most problems today can be associated with poor installation.

80+ AFUE Gas Furnaces

If your furnace is over twenty years old, these furnaces will still halve your gas bill!  There is no standing pilot light any longer, and they don't overheat to get the job done.  You may not be able to dry your tennies, but you'll be comfortable!
